If you are finding the cost of childcare difficult to cope with whilst studying at New College you can apply for financial help from the government's Childcare Support Fund. Please contact Student Services on 01793 611470 for further information and an application form.
Childcare Support for Students Under 19
The government has introduced a scheme called 'Care to Learn' to help Students, who are under 19, with their Childcare costs.
Students can receive up to £5,125 per year and childcare costs can be claimed for private study time. 'Care to Learn' is not means tested.
