All New College students are able to become members of the Students Union, which is affiliated to the NUS. The NUS card carries several advantages such as discounts in many high street stores. To get your NUS card bring a passport sized photograph to the Student Union Office in Student Services. Alternatively send your passport sized photo together with a stamped self addressed envelope, your name, enrolment number, and course details to the Student Services office at the main New College address.
Joining the Student Union Executive is a brilliant opportunity if you want to have your say in Student/College affairs. It looks great on UCAS forms and employers also like to see that you have taken an active role in college life.
