All our full-time students have the support of a personal tutor, and are members of a tutor group. They are actively encouraged to take advantage of foreign exchanges, study tours, visiting speakers and conferences. Students appreciate the friendly, adult and caring atmosphere of New College, and the support of enthusiastic and committed staff.
The Student Services team offer advice and guidance on financial support, careers, Higher Education, transport to college and learning support. There are also college counsellors and a chaplaincy team to provide confidential support on personal matters. New College has established strong links through its courses with industry, commerce and the wider community. Students can take part in voluntary service and a range of opportunities for work shadowing and work experience.
